Before we can get to work sculpting your eyebrows, we’ll need to schedule in a consultation. Here your beautician will look to discuss your goals, considering facial shape, features and skin tone, before conducting a patch test to ensure that this procedure is suitable for you; the main thing is to ensure you aren’t allergic to the pigments we’ll use. We’ll then create a bespoke template, which will guide us as we shape your look. The aim is to work with your existing brow, complementing its natural appearance, while filling it in and darkening it where appropriate. Ultra-precise movements will see us draw in new hairs, creating a more consistent and full look.
Occasionally our Croydon, Caterham and Warlingham clients express concerns, wondering how painful and uncomfortable it will be to obtain semi-permanent brows. On this front, you needn’t worry. We use a numbing agent to minimise discomfort. The treatment itself typically takes between 60-90 minutes, and sees a trained aesthetician tattoo hair strokes onto your brow via microblading techniques, implanting a pigment that will enhance brows, making them fuller, darker and richer.
It may take a few weeks to fully recover, so do mentally set aside roughly 12 days until full results are revealed. Before this, you may experience some tenderness, swelling, redness and bruising. This is all very normal, however, and shouldn’t prevent you going about your day-to-day routine. With proper aftercare – which we’ll provide extensive advice on – you can then look forward to around a year of a full, coloured brow with little maintenance required.
